How much time is given in NDA and how many questions are given in paper and how many have to be attempted?

The National Defense Academy (NDA) examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year. The exam consists of two papers - Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).
The duration of each paper is 2.5 hours, and each paper is conducted for a total of 300 marks. The Mathematics paper consists of 120 questions, while the GAT paper consists of 150 questions.
In the NDA exam, there is a negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer. Therefore, it is important to attempt only those questions for which you are confident of the answer.
To qualify for the NDA exam, candidates are required to secure the minimum qualifying marks in each paper as determined by the UPSC. Additionally, candidates must score a minimum aggregate of marks in both papers to be considered for the next stage of the selection process.
